Once Again

I am finished with Bloger blogs. I have had it with that company and will not deal with them again. I found Freeblogit.com and so far I am happy with it at least I can get on it for the time being. Here is some of what I wrote on the defunct blog. They will be presented in the order they were written but somewhat shorter.

On May 8 I did an entry called Starting Over I told how I was trying to restart my blogs I had two active blogs but around the time we changed to satellite internet from dial up so, no more netscspe.com hello wildblue.net. I also caught a wicked computer virus which destroyed all the saved passwords. What I had listed in my notebook no longer worked to get me access because I couldn’t use the netscape address anymore and without it I couldn’t touch the old blogs so once again I’m having to get started all over again.

I will be working on getting some prompts done and perhaps on one or the other of my writing prompts. One of my blogs was on the names and titles of God and went with that book I have been working on for years. The other was more of a journal. This one can be of use for the journaling book I am working on.

On May 27 I wrote an entry called Names to 911 telling why it had taken so long between entries. I had been to busy with my book to write for over two weeks. I have just finished chapter 5 about Christian Meditation.

When I started my first blog I imagined posting whatever I was working on the blog. I discovered that if I post it on the blog it is considered published and I could not offer the piece anyone for the right of first publication because I would have already published it on my blog. With a readership in the single digits. Just know I have been having a good time finishing chapters 4 and 5 of my book on journaling.

Anyway it is finally time to give something of an introduction My name is Annette, after Annette Funichello, I wonder how many children born today are being named after Hannah Montana? Older brothers and sisters have a lot to do with younger brothers and sisters are named.

My husband and I were married the first part of September 2001. We went to Niagra Falls on our honeymoon afterwards we had barely settled in at our home when there was only one item on the news. The terrorists had made Sept 11, like Dec 7, “A day that will live in infirmary.” Our anniversary is linked with one of the worst days in history. But it is the best marriage you could imagine.

Day before yesterday I was trying to write another entry called About Blogs I still cannot get to that blog two entries and I was looked out I wanted to post this entry which has never seen the light of day.

I have considered myself a writer for a long time but I have my doubts when I look at all the blogs on the net. First I am disappointed by my blog because I have no idea how to add pictures. This is also the fifth blog (now sixth) I have started most are lost. The first one I had no idea how to set up a blog and was disappointed by how little space I had to write, I don’t remember where it was being posted but it was unsatisfactory.

My second blog was on (Bloger blog) and again I had no idea how to start a blog and named it something that was not supported. Then I set up my second blog on that sight. It went really well and I really enjoyed it that one, so much I set up one about the names of God because I had been studying them for years. I kept both of these for years, unfortunately, I had made the mistake of having them open automatically since the last time I tried to enter one I had the hard drive die twice. The first time it was a total rebuild to get more space. My husband promised I would not lose anything so I lost everything I had not gone out of my way to save. I did not have time or space to save everything before he started the upgrade and I lost a lot.

While I was using my husband’s computer during the upgrade I tried another server which was unsatisfactory so I did not keep it up. (Since after only 2 posts I am locked out of that blog I wanted something else. I found this sight) I had come up with the name Once Written to start yet another blog and It told me I had an invalid e-mail, whatever they meant by that. I guess the reason I happily bloged fro several years and then got frustration after frustration was it was owned by someone else when I started them both and they worked well. But Google took them over and you had to change your password and set up a Google account. They nearly destroyed Mozialla Firefox when they took that over. Always stay clear of Google to keep your product good.
